We match what you tell us against information we already hold. Usually that means confirming you control the email address on file by replying to a message we send. For a request to receive specific pieces of information, or about sensitive information, we may ask for more detail. We use what you provide only to verify you and handle the request.
Yes. An authorized agent can submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for your signed permission, and we may also ask you to confirm your identity with us directly, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney.
That agency does. When a calculator runs on an agency's site, the agency decides how your lead is used, and we hold it as the agency's service provider. We will forward your request to the agency, tell you we have done so, and help the agency carry it out, for example by deleting the contact from its workspace when the agency instructs us. For calls, texts or emails you received, contact the agency directly; opting out with the sender is the fastest route.
We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, as some state laws allow, we will tell you why. If we deny a request, we explain the reason and, where your state provides one, how to appeal.
No. We will not deny service, charge a different price or reduce the quality of the service because you exercised a privacy right.
