Life insurance
Final expense insurance is a small whole life policy, typically with a modest face amount, designed to pay for a funeral, burial or cremation and the bills left at death. It is marketed mainly to older adults and is often issued with simplified underwriting based on a short health questionnaire rather than a medical exam.
Final expense is a high-volume, phone-heavy market, which makes it one of the lines where TCPA consent and lead quality matter most. Prospects usually know roughly what a funeral costs locally but have not added in medical bills, travel for family or small debts, so a needs figure helps right-size the face amount.
A dedicated final expense calculator is built and awaiting release. In the meantime, the Final Expenses field in the life insurance calculator captures what a visitor expects to set aside for end-of-life costs, and that figure is visible in the lead record.
